Pick a section and you land on the paragraph it starts at, right at the top of the screen.

Everything else steps back to half opacity, and the block you are in takes a plum edge.

Any annotation inside it pulses once.

Now leave the mouse alone.

The letter j moves to the next section, k moves back.

A hundred and sixty-one sections, two keys.

Shift with the arrow keys does the same, if that is how you learned it.

They hold off while you are typing, so they stay out of the way inside a note.

And on a piece without sections they rest, because there is nowhere to hop to.

There is no cheat sheet to call up, so keep those two letters in mind.

Close it and come back.

You return where you stopped, with the same shape in the rail.

The piece becomes a map you can walk back into.
