Scope Ask to the smallest trustworthy source

When you Ask, the scope you choose decides which of your material the answer may draw on. Prefer the smallest scope that still holds the answer: the current item keeps it to the source in front of you, the current Space widens it to everything in that context, and all your Spaces searches your whole Library. A narrower scope gives a more trustworthy, checkable answer; reach wider only when the narrow scope comes up short.

Every answer cites the passages it used, so a claim is never something you have to take on faith, and Ask says plainly when the chosen scope does not hold the answer. Searching all your Spaces is part of the higher plans; the item and Space scopes are always there.
