What a save costs

Omphalis meters processing in comprehension units. Settings, under Billing, shows your plan allowance and cycle usage. Costs depend on source size, save level and the work performed, including cleaning, structure, annotations, transcription and narration. A unit is not a fixed number of articles, pages or minutes.

On unified billing, processing records fractional usage. The combined cycle total is rounded up once. Temporary reservations can reduce available capacity while a run is in progress; they are not final charges. For a document run with a quote, the quoted processing can settle lower and is capped at that quote. Additional operations are separate. An active grandfathered grant retains legacy size-based pricing until the grant expires; your Usage panel shows which meter applies.

Clean keeps the readable source; Structure adds Strata; Full adds annotations and Connections. Estimates help you choose a level, but actual work and reuse affect the result. Raising a level adds missing processing rather than quoting extraction again. Check the current controls and estimates rather than converting an allowance into a guaranteed item count.

Reading saved material and writing notes do not use more units. Keeping a recording uses storage; transcribing it uses units according to its transcription quote. New model processing, narration or Ask work can use units separately. Ask voice also has its own minute allowance.

Your monthly included units reset with the billing cycle. Purchased units do not expire. You can choose a unit pack or a larger plan when you need more capacity; automatic top-ups require opt-in on an eligible plan. Available balance and plan entitlements both matter when starting work.
